Week 2020

Help make caring visible

What caring means to me

In the run up to Carers Week, we asked carers and our staff and trustees to share quotes and photos about What Caring Means to Me. Check out our Photo Gallery to see their contributions

What we did

For Carers Week 2020, Carers' Hub Lambeth invited you to get involved in our 'What Caring Means to Me' social media campaign to help raise awareness for unpaid carers and their huge contribution to our community.

Check out the amazing photos, poems, quotes and videos we received from our community.

Caring in Lockdown

South London Stories

For Carers Week, local photographer and writer, James Hopkirk, has published the stories and photographs of three local carers. The series explores their lives and what is like to be a carer during lockdown. Visit South London Stories to see the incredible images and stories.

What is Carers Week

Carers Week is a national campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
