Covid-19 update
We have temporarily changed the way we are working, due to the current situation with Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Supporting Carers during Covid - 19
In light of the rise in COVID 19 cases, and new government advice to work from home, we have decided to shift all up and coming activities online, to ensure the safety of all attendees. In the New Year, we will continue to assess the situation with COVID 19 and will be in touch to let you know when face to face activities resume.
Your safety and the safety of our team is a priority to us at this time. Where possible, we will carry out our appointments via zoom, google meet or over the phone. If this is not suitable for you please speak to a member of our team so we can arrange a face to face appointment. The team will advise you of our Covid-19 health and safety procedures, and it is important that you follow these on the day of your appointment.
Should carers have any questions or concerns, please contact the team. Our phone lines and email remain open as usual, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Please note over the festive period, our phone lines will be closed on the Bank Holidays (Monday 27th & 28th December, and Monday 3rd January).

Helpful information
Priority access to Covid-19 booster vaccination for carers
The Government has now taken steps to ensure that unpaid carers can get priority access to COVID-19 booster vaccinations. As an unpaid carer, you can attend any walk-in site and receive priority access to get your free Covid-19 booster and dose 1 or dose 2 vaccinations. If you’re 16 or over and had your 2nd dose at least three months ago you can now get your booster. Simply take the letter from the Department of Health & Social Care and you’ll get priority access if there are long queues.
Lambeth Coronavirus Helpline
Connect Lambeth's Gateway service has been asked to take over the coronavirus helpline provided by Lambeth Council. Gateway is now the first point of contact of support for those needing help during the pandemic. The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Anyone needing help can call 0333 360 3700 or email mycommunity@ageuklambeth.org
