Adult and parent
If you look after a family member, friend, partner or neighbour then you are a carer. And if either you or they live in Lambeth, then we are here to support you.
Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to start, but there are lots of ways we can help you
What happens when you contact us for the first time
We’ll begin by giving you a call to find out about your situation.
You may just need some information, in which case we will send you what you need via email or post.
You can download our guide about the support on offer in Lambeth, and the ways we can help.
You may be offered a one to one appointment with a member of the team.
We can meet you at your home, our offices or a suitable community setting.
We will use this appointment to explore any challenges that you are facing.
We’ll then work alongside you to create a plan that is tailored to your needs, and we'll help you put it into action.
'I would feel cut off without Carers' Hub, it is a reliable, safe place to meet others who get it.'
It can give peace of mind to know that in the unlikely event of an emergency, a plan is in place for the person you care for. Find out about Emergency Planning resources on offer via the Lambeth Carers Card.
Working in partnership, Carers' Hub Lambeth and My Social are currently developing the Lambeth Carers Card scheme. We will be offering local carers early access to online resources and information which may be of particular help during this difficult time.
