How can your business make a difference?

There are lots of ways your business could support your local community and help make life a bit better for carers in Lambeth. If you are a cafe, pub or restaurant you could make a really big difference by offering to host a carers coffee morning with us and donating some refreshments, you could fundraise or display a poster to help raise awareness of our services, or you might have office space which could be used for meetings and events.  Get in touch with us to talk through any ideas you may have.

Our current partnerships

A really big thank you to Anthony Gold and Morley College for your ongoing support. It is hugely appreciated by all the carers you have helped.

'The Court of Protection team at Anthony Gold specialises in assisting and supporting vulnerable adults and children. This includes individuals who are unable to make decisions for themselves, as a result of suffering life changing injuries or mental health issues.  We have worked in partnership with Carer’s Hub for a number of years, offering free monthly legal advice sessions to their carers. The Carer’s Hub provides an invaluable support service to unpaid carers, which is all the more important in the current climate of restricted local authority budgets. Their service makes a real difference to the local community and we are very glad to be a part of that.'

Morley College works collaboratively with Carers' Hub to create a range of courses which they deliver at a very low cost or free of charge for carers in Lambeth.  Courses are designed to give carers the opportunity to relax, make friends, learn a new skill, take time out from their caring role and improve wellbeing.

Courses have included yoga for complete beginners, felt making, colour therapy and harmonious flowers, breathing techniques and gentle exercise.
